For months, critics warned that President Donald Trump was likely leading us into war with North Korea with his approach to dealing with Kim Jong Un. They said things like, “You have reason to be scared of a war that could wipe out 500,000 people in a couple of weeks” and “We’re probably closer to an outright war with North Korea.”
However, Trump has done the opposite. North and South Korea announced the end the Korean War, and Secretary of State Mike Pompeo met with North Korea and brought three U.S. prisoners back to America with him.
On Wednesday, Trump was asked, “Do you deserve the Nobel Prize?”
“Everyone thinks so, but I would never say it. You know what I want to do? I want to get it finished.
The prize I want is victory for the world, not for even here. I want victory for the world because that’s what we’re talking about. So that’s the only prize I want.”
